About The Position

Do you love good food, great people, and working in a fun welcoming space? We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and compassionate Café Team Lead to help run the Goodwill Café! In this role you will oversee the operations of our busy workplace café while helping create a positive and supportive environment for both customers and team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years previous experience in food service, café, restaurant, or kitchen operations.
Must pass acceptable criminal and dependent adult/child abuse background checks.
Must have valid drivers’ license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead café operations and support team members during shifts
Perform grocery shopping and ensure timely stocking of ingredients and supplies
Maintain accurate inventory levels and track usage of food and supplies
Plan menus and assist with food preparation and presentation
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage practices
Maintain compliance with all applicable health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
Ensure safe food handling, preparation, storage, and cleaning practices are consistently followed.
Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation procedures for kitchen and café areas.
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents promptly
Work collaboratively with Job Coaches to train, guide, and support individuals served
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members
Delegate tasks appropriately based on individual abilities and support needs
Support skill development and encourage independence among individuals served
