About The Position

The Server will provide a positive dining experience with friendly attentive service in a professional manner. To serve guests efficiently by following all restaurant standards of service and etiquette to exceed guests’ expectations.

Requirements

Must have the ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
Must exhibit integrity; honesty and truthfulness.
Must be able to work varying schedules, includes weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 40 lbs through a crowded patio.
Must have exceptional grooming standards consistent with company guidelines.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must have the ability to obtain a Riverside County food handler’s card.
Must have the ability to obtain an ABC Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and respond to guest requests promptly.
Be knowledgeable about menu items to inform guests and make suggestions accordingly.
Take and process orders in Micros with detailed information and special preparations.
Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
Pre-bus tables throughout each course to provide proper service requirements.
Maintain an organized work environment and overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
Process payments accurately in micros and follow proper cash handling procedures.
Thank guests for dining with us and invite departing guests to return again.
Be willing to support fellow servers, runners, buses and hosts in a team environment.
Complete closing side work in preparation for the next business day.
Follow all Restaurant standards of service to achieve consistent customer satisfaction.
Maintain a safe work area and ensure the safety of guests and associates.
Execute any tasks as requested by management.
Understand and adhere to the Ponte values and service standards.
Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery.
