About The Position

Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe in Leander, TX is looking for a full-time or part-time Cafe night Server to add to the Perky Beans Family, with evening shifts between 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.! This food service position has competitive pay of $24-30 / hour and excellent perks, including weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, free coffee drinks, and a discounted meal each shift. From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu. Our mission is to serve delectable recipes with quality ingredients that keep our customers coming back. We are passionate about food and customer service. Additionally, we strive to be a partner with the community and support many local schools and non-profits in the Leander and Liberty Hill areas. Our team is family to us. Requirements

18+ years of age
6+ months of restaurant or customer service experience
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Must have open availability which includes mornings/nights and weekends
Organized and attentive to detail
Ability to manage a variety of tasks effectively
Service-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a smile.
Proactively ensure each guest feels valued, assisting them with menu selections and answering any questions about our dishes, ingredients, or specials.
Anticipate customer needs and go the extra mile to create an inviting and memorable dining experience.
Take each customer's drink and food order and input them accurately for the kitchen to prepare.
Prepare and serve drinks.
Verify that each plate is correct before running the plates to the proper table.
Check up on guests to ensure that they are satisfied.
Refill drinks and provide any additional service needed.
Accurately process cash and credit card payments.
