This position leads and supervises the team within the cafe, managing member needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club. This role involves communicating department goals, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and advocating for the member, associate, and company. The Cafe Lead maintains in-depth knowledge of business operations, ensuring the cafe area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance. They manage seasonality in production, understand new products, recipes, processes, and production specifications, and collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure the team has the necessary resources. This role also leverages digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing hand-held technology for immediate business decisions and adopting new tools. The Cafe Lead drives business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and accurate audit and compliance standards. They produce and display merchandise according to the plan, engage with other departments and third-party business partners for operational continuity, and teach and train the team by identifying training needs, providing necessary skills, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent.
