About The Position
We are urgently hiring an experienced Cafe Cook to prepare and serve quality meals in a fast-paced cafe environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Requirements
- Recent cafe, restaurant, institutional, or commercial cooking experience required
- Knowledge of food preparation and safe food-handling practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work Monday–Friday and rotating weekends
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and food service area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory
- Clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers
