About The Position
This position is responsible for executing day-to-day operations in a café setting to provide a memorable service experience to all customers. Duties include preparing specialty coffee drinks; performing a wide variety of tasks related to serving and storing prepared foods; and cleaning wares, equipment, and work areas in compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of work experience in a retail food service, coffee café, or catering environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- California Food Handlers certification.
Nice To Haves
- Barista experience.
- Point of Sale (POS) cashiering experience.
