About The Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively perform cashier-related functions, including cooking duties, while maintaining the highest level of customer service. The position requires maintaining a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and co-worker. Key duties include accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions, maintaining proper cash accountabilities daily, and communicating customer service issues and requests to management. The role also involves performing any other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Knowledge of employment and food handling procedures.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Handle cash, checks, and credit cards.
Count till at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying all transactions and till balance.
Maintain store appearance by keeping everything neat and clean.
Stock inventory, including groceries, fountain, and coffee areas.
Operate the espresso machine in accordance with rules and procedures.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines.
Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
Assist in cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
