About The Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively perform cashier duties, including cooking, while maintaining the highest level of customer service. This involves creating a friendly and professional environment by greeting customers and co-workers, accurately processing sales transactions, and maintaining proper cash accountability. The position also requires communicating customer service issues to management and performing other duties as directed.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Knowledge of employment and food handling procedures.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Handle cash, checks, and credit cards.
Count till at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying transaction accuracy and till balance.
Maintain store appearance by keeping everything neat and clean.
Stock inventory, including groceries, fountain, and coffee areas.
Operate the espresso machine according to rules and procedures.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines.
Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
Assist in cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
