About The Position

Lavazza Cafe Barista position responsible for providing quality beverages and food products consistently to all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. This role involves preparing and serving authentic Italian espresso and coffee drinks, providing customers with product details, and following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. The barista will operate the POS system, maintain a clean workspace, operate and clean equipment, promote Regal Unlimited, and perform other duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Requirements

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required
• This is a 21+ position as this area serves alcoholic beverages
• Possess good public speaking, listen effectively and respond clearly and directly
• Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems
• Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence
• Take action beyond what is necessarily called for
• Perform under pressure and/or opposition
• Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors
• Must be able to obtain applicable food handling permits or certifications as required by law
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
• The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Prepare and serve authentic Italian espresso and coffee drinks
• Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation description upon request
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Operate POS system, including the proper handling of and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Operating, preparing and cleaning of all equipment
• Obtain knowledge of and promote Regal Unlimited
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Regular and consistent attendance
