About The Position
The Cafe Attendant provides quick, efficient, and pleasant food and beverage service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met. The role involves taking orders, communicating them to the kitchen, delivering orders in a timely manner, responding to requests, bussing and resetting tables, and completing assigned side work. The attendant is expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
Requirements
- No experience is necessary; previous food service experience is preferred.
- Complete food safety training and obtain and/or maintain any required local, state, or county food-handling or sanitation licenses or certificates.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Have basic computer skills for using POS and payroll systems.
- Be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Be able to solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience.
