About The Position

Join Our Culinary Team as a Café Attendant Vitality Cafe at Willow Valley Communities We're seeking compassionate, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Café Attendants at Vitality Cafe, in the Cultural Center. In this role, you'll do more than prepare food and beverages. You'll help create a welcoming gathering place where Residents, families, guests, and Team Members can connect and enjoy exceptional hospitality. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality excellence

Responsibilities

Making coffee and setting up the café service line
Preparing food for café operations and catering functions
Determining café production needs and assisting with inventory and ordering
Slicing deli meats and cheeses
Preparing meat salads using standardized recipes
Taking customer orders and assembling salads and sandwiches
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintaining cleanliness of the deli counter, dining area, kitchen, and pantry
Assisting with catering set-up and delivery
Receiving and storing food items according to food safety guidelines
Following Willow Valley Communities' HACCP and food safety procedures
Providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Verifying identification for alcohol purchases when applicable
Performing other duties as assigned
