Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be professional, courteous and exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with the Members and guests
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment with tight deadlines and shifting needs
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • A reliable individual who can work independently but also as part of a team, committed to customer service
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Accurate with register use.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance
  • The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and occasionally required to taste or smell
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Guest Service Supervisor and Head Chef with overseeing cleanliness, stocking and maintaining the Chalet and work areas.
  • Cleaning and organizing daily to keep a professional appearance.
  • Assist with Point of Sale, inventories, and displays.
  • Process guests' orders through the use of a point of sale system
  • Give accurate and current information about the food available, prices and where to find useful information.
  • Assist with providing a safe and positive experience for both guests and staff.
  • Must learn basic knowledge of Marquette Mountain's operations and points of interest (ski patrol, retail, rentals, etc.).
  • Communicate with the kitchen staff about the needs of the guests and stocking products.
  • Assist the Head Chef with overseeing cleanliness, stocking, and maintaining the Chalet and work areas.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.
