About The Position

The Cafe Attendant is responsible for creating a warm and positive experience for members, assisting them with product selection, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe area. This role also involves preparing smoothies, food, coffee-related beverages, and grilling menu items while adhering to all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures. The attendant will collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth cafe operations.

Must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense)

Responsibilities

Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience.
Answer questions and assist customers with product selection.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area.
Manage transactions accurately.
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Prepare smoothies, food, and coffee-related beverages independently.
Prepare and grill menu items for pool deck service.
Work closely with teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
