Requirements

Experience in hospitality
Ability to plan for special events and calculate food costs.
Love for serving the Lord and his people
May have to bend, sit, or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 35 lbs.
May have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Responsibilities

Making the café more efficient and profitable as well as enjoyable during its hours of operation.
To reach a certain level of professionalism and sustainability with café volunteers
Shop/order from a wide variety of vendors
Train and schedule volunteers
Prep items for all services
Oversee the café floor during hours of operation
Ensure the kitchen is well stocked with paper/plastic products
Order for the church to keep all ministries stocked for weekly service and special events
Perform monthly deep cleaning of all café equipment
Perform deep cleaning and restocking of the church kitchen in the west building
Perform other department-related tasks as needed and assigned by the Café Supervisor.
