About The Position
This role involves providing support in both the front and back of house operations of a café. The Café Floater will be responsible for customer service, maintaining the dining area, assisting with kitchen tasks, and general maintenance to ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and organization.
Requirements
- Friendly, upbeat attitude with a strong focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Adaptable and eager to switch tasks quickly between front and back of house.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-first mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Prior café, restaurant, or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately, operate the POS/cashier system, and deliver warm, friendly service.
- Buss and sanitize tables, empty trash/recycling, and restock guest stations (sugar, cups, napkins, utensils).
- Assist with dishwashing, basic food prep, restocking pantry shelves, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Help maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and organization across all café areas.
