About The Position

As a Café Ambassador, you are the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. You won’t be found behind a teller line or a glass window. Instead, you’ll move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection. In this role, you’ll act as a high-end service specialist and a guide to digital banking. You aren't just serving a community; you’re building one by bringing Capital One’s mission to life within a vibrant, modern community hub.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years of banking experience
  • 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
  • Proficient in G-Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with guests in a high-energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop.
  • Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions.
  • Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshooting tech challenges with ease.
  • Host and support local events that promote financial health.
  • Act as a brand steward, working within the framework of Capital One’s established programs and strategic community partnerships to ensure our impact is professional, focused, and effective.
  • Advocate for our customers, problem solve, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle complaints and/or escalated situations.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome.
  • Be a team player who possesses a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to be flexible and embrace change.
  • Be on the move and active throughout the day, moving through the Cafe to connect with the community and support the flow of the guest experience.
  • Support surrounding Cafés as needed within a 50 mile radius, with occasional opportunities to assist other locations in the broader Region.
  • Attend all required training sessions, which may occur on a schedule differing from the primary shift.
