About The Position

The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. This role bridges the gap between digital innovation and human connection, acting as a high-end service specialist and a guide to digital banking within a vibrant, modern community hub. The ambassador builds community by bringing Capital One’s mission to life, focusing on guest experience rather than traditional sales.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience
Ability to adapt to business-driven schedule adjustments.
Lifting up to 25 pounds and moving/standing for extended periods of time
Regular and consistent attendance

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree
2+ years of banking experience
2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
Proficient in G-Suite
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with guests in a high-energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop.
Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation.
Guide customers through the digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshooting tech challenges.
Host and support local events that promote financial health, acting as a brand steward within established programs and strategic community partnerships.
Advocate for customers, problem-solve, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Handle complaints and/or escalated situations, including de-escalation.
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome.
Be a team player with strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to be flexible and embrace change.
Be on the move and active throughout the day, moving through the Cafe to connect with the community and support the flow of the guest experience.
Support surrounding Cafés as needed within a 50-mile radius, with occasional opportunities to assist other locations in the broader Region.
Attend all required training sessions.
