About The Position

As a Café Ambassador, you are the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. You will move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection. In this role, you’ll act as a high-end service specialist and a guide to digital banking. You aren't just serving a community; you’re building one by bringing Capital One’s mission to life within a vibrant, modern community hub.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree
2+ years of banking experience
2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
Proficient in G-Suite
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with guests in a high-energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop.
Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions.
Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshooting tech challenges with ease.
Host and support local events that promote financial health, acting as a brand steward within the framework of Capital One’s established programs and strategic community partnerships.
Advocate for customers, problem solve, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Handle complaints and/or escalated situations, including de-escalation.
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome.
Support surrounding Cafés as needed within a 50-mile radius, with occasional opportunities to assist other locations in the broader Region.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with hours and days subject to change.
Adapt to business-driven schedule adjustments.
Attend all required training sessions.
Lift up to 25 pounds and move/stand for extended periods of time.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
