CAE Tech Program - Take your career to new heights! Internship and scholarship Are you in your first or second year of a program in computer technology, software development, digital technologies, systems integration, or avionics? The CAE Tech program aims to encourage future technicians from different backgrounds to start their careers at CAE by offering support, integrated workplace internships, and scholarships. It is open to students enrolled in technology-related programs at the following CEGEPs/colleges: André Laurendeau, BoisdeBoulogne, Édouard-Montpetit, ÉNA, Dawson, John Abbott, and Montmorency. What we offer you : Paid internships in the summer of 2025 and 2026 related to your field of study; The opportunity to actively contribute to exciting projects in a multidisciplinary work team; The chance to put what you've learned in school into practice and work with cutting-edge technology; Networking opportunities to grow your professional network; High-quality mentoring from technical experts and inspiring leaders. In addition to internship placements, CAE will offer the following to selected students: $1,000 scholarship 1; $300 per semester for tuition fees, until the student completes their college studies 2; A mentoring service to guide the student during their participation in the program. Opportunity to complete your final internship at CAE; 1 Awarded after completion of the first mandatory internship at CAE 2 For a maximum of 6 semesters of study The ideal candidates we are looking for Be a first- or second-year student in a computer science, avionics, or networking program 3 Be a student at one of the following colleges: André Laurendeau, Bois de Boulogne, Édouard-Montpetit, ÉNA, Dawson, John Abbott, and Montmorency. Here are some typical job descriptions: System integration: Harmonize and coordinate the various components of an IT infrastructure. You will help connect software, hardware, databases, and protocols to optimize results, improve operational efficiency, and ensure overall compatibility. Front-end programming: Create and manage the visible user interface of an application or website. You will collaborate on designing a seamless user experience, manage the layout, and ensure the smooth operation of user applications. Back-end programming: Implement and manage the features essential to the proper use of an application or website. You will help manage the application logic, interact with the database, and ensure the smooth operation of server-side activities. Full-stack programming: Work on all aspects of a project, from user interface design to database management and application logic implementation. You will need to demonstrate versatility and an ability to work on multiple aspects of a project. Science and data analysis: Collect, process, analyze, and interpret data to obtain useful information, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in statistics, computer science, and automation. Computer test development: Create and run computer tests to evaluate the quality, functionality, and reliability of software or applications. You will need to identify errors and bugs while ensuring that the software meets specific requirements. Hardware technician: Diagnose and correct problems on simulators and related simulation systems.
