About The Position
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a CADD Technician to support its survey division. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing survey drawings for municipal, transportation (DOT), and ALTA surveys. The role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit within a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center (TBC), Microsoft office, and other computer applications and design software is a plus.
- Capable of completing projects with help from surveying technicians, survey field crews, survey project managers and Professional Land Surveyors.
- Minimum of 7 Years of experience
- MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required
Responsibilities
- Working within MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D following client driven CADD standards (NCS, DOT’s, UPRR, USACOE, etc.)
- Adhering to specific quality control procedures
- Completing work according to standard surveying principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures
- Creating and documenting easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deed interpretation, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete survey drawings
- Performing survey calculations and reports
- Coordinating with design engineers to develop ROW and ownership plans for various entities
