Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 0–3+ years of CAD experience in a survey or civil environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of survey field data collection methods and coding practices a plus.
  • Experience generating linework and surfaces from field collected data preferred.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center preferred.
  • LiDAR / 3D scanning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of survey drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Prepare base mapping, linework, and surfaces from field collected survey data.
  • Support production of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, and exhibits.
  • Reduce electronic field notes and survey data into survey-grade CAD deliverables.
  • Conform to company CAD standards for layering, labeling, and sheet layout.
  • Work with project teams to support timely completion of survey deliverables.
  • Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
  • Assist with processing field collected survey data using Trimble Business Center and related software, as needed.
