About The Position

Sea Island Land Development is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to create and modify technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role supports engineering and design projects by ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The CAD Technician will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce designs that meet client specifications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to create precise technical drawings.
• Experience with land surveying equipment and data collection.
• Familiarity with site work design concepts and schematic development.
• Ability to accurately interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and build detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
• Create 3D models and visualizations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and TopCon software.
• Produce civil engineering designs using Civil 3D to support infrastructure projects.
• Prepare schematics for utility and earthwork design projects, ensuring specifications are met.
• Review and revise existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project leads.
• Maintain organized documentation of design files and revisions for team access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with project requirements and timelines.
