About The Position

Join T2 Utility Engineers in Knoxville, TN to play an integral role in preparing computer-generated survey drawings, according to established standards and procedures, from field collected data using CAD software. T2 Utility Engineers specializes in providing reliable underground and above-ground utility information to reduce the risks that utilities present for infrastructure projects. Requirements

Two‐year course in engineering drafting/CAD operation plus two years applicable experience or a minimum of two years of experience on DOT roadway projects
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Solid time management and follow‐through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines
Positive, flexible team‐oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as part of a team
Self‐motivated, strong initiative; effective oral and written skills
Detail oriented, resourceful

Nice To Haves

Experience in processing survey data preferred

Responsibilities

Prepares composite utility file, plan sheet drawings and complete SUE plans using Microstation and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ensures that his or her drafting is of the highest quality and organized in accordance with company design standards
Ensures that all drawings are prepared with accuracy, neatness, and speed
Ensures that all drawings are produced using uniform and standard quality of lines and lettering
Demonstrates ability to manage simultaneous projects
Communicates drafting issues and problems to the project manager
May assist in the data collection and/or field verification project documents
