About The Position

The Drafter works in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment to support the development of design and construction documents for building systems under the supervision of Senior Engineers. The role is intended for a candidate who approaches challenges with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The position is located in Vista, California, with travel up to 10%. The expected hourly compensation range is $25–$32, with actual compensation determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and location. The role is eligible for performance-based bonuses, equity participation, and a U.S.-based benefits package.

Requirements

• Training toward an associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, an Engineering Technology program, or an engineering degree.
• Drafting experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various facilities is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete field investigations of existing site and system conditions.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD to assist in producing design and construction documents for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete scheduling, programming, and quality control.
• Coordinate information and work across disciplines.
