About The Position
Kimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Drafter Intern to join our Traffic Operations team in Lake Nona, Florida (FL)! This is not a remote position. This role supports the transportation team through the production of traffic signal plans and related design documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads. Interns will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines and will develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be enrolled in a technical degree focused on CAD drafting
- Detail oriented and professional attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work with a team
- Basic working knowledge with AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Production of traffic signal plans and related design documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
- Learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
