Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification in AutoCAD or Drafting required.
Valid Alaska driver's license.
Experience with GIS and understanding the relationship of geographic spatial data and the underlying tabular information.
Experience with CAD drawing management software.
Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver detailed and accurate drawings for the design, construction, maintenance, and protection of various facilities including substations, communication sites, and generation plants.
Maintain and enhance GIS systems using expertise in computer-aided software.
Prepare high-quality drawings, maps, diagrams, and sketches that adhere to company standards and engineering best practices.
Produce phenolic tags for signage.
Scan and link important documents.
Update databases for easy access to scanned images.
