The position is for a skilled Designer with experience in 3D modeling software to support municipal infrastructure projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to produce detailed drawings and 3D models of water/wastewater systems, site utilities, structural layouts, and related facilities, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar 3D modeling and drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• 5 + years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts) preferred.
• Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar design software.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed, and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Stay current with new drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
