  • Knowledge of chip design and/or CAD flows.
  • Experience in front-end CAD tools or flows, such as logic design, synthesis, design verification, or design for test, or in back-end CAD tools or flows, such as place-and-route, static timing analysis, LVS, DRC, or extraction.
  • Experience in engineering environments related to EDA or chip design.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: compute, storage, and network equipment deployed in large HPC data centers; or EDA tool, licensing, and operating system dependencies.
  • Program or project management experience with silicon or CAD projects, or a combination of program management and CAD design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-level achievements by focusing the CAD team on near-term milestones and bringing together technical specialists to unblock issues.
  • Run and track project schedules and drive execution within a multifaceted core technology team.
  • Manage daily and long-term project activities.
  • Participate in early project planning, including resourcing and scheduling.
  • Develop project schedules, assign ownership, plan resource metrics, and track work through completion.
  • Lead weekly schedule and communication meetings with upper management.
  • Communicate schedules and dependencies effectively with CAD, Design, Infrastructure, Technology, and other dependent teams.
  • Develop a comprehensive view of the work needed to support projects from conception through completion.
  • Rally teams and engineers to achieve project milestones and success.
  • Collaborate across organizations to align on a unified operating plan.
  • Predict, plan, implement, and monitor project infrastructure needs and requirements.
  • Monitor work, promptly highlight gaps, and mitigate risks as needed.
  • Accommodate project changes and update plans while maintaining schedule alignment.
