Responsible for detailing material/components from contractor drawings, plans, or blueprints.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of completion in drafting, industrial drawing or construction from a college or technical school.
- Work experience in construction, manufacturing fabrication or drafting.
- Engineering background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Details required material/components using AutoCAD or other method.
- Prepares layouts according to specifications.
- Interacts with customers to review plans to determine scope and other requirements of the job.
- Back-logs reconciliation pertaining to finished material/components and ordered amounts.
- Reviews drawings and supporting documentation to verify adherence to standard practices.
- Copies, prints, and distributes finished detail plans to customers.
- Assists with maintaining and updating project status in the project management system of record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
