About The Position
BEI Construction is seeking a full-time temporary CAD Drafter to support our cabling division. This position will be primarily remote with occasional travel to BEI's corporate office. The duration of this temporary position is approximately 3 months.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in construction industry project drafting
- Demonstrated ability using AutoCAD and Autodesk software
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated PC skills and proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu and/or Photoshop software
- Experience with low voltage and electrical design
Responsibilities
- Design, create, edit, update, collaborate, and present construction project drawings to internal and external stakeholders
- Work on projects supporting our multiple construction divisions, including Technology Infrastructure, Security, Audio Visual, and others
- Continuously update project templates and design drawing standards
- Create and distribute As-Built reports for customer closeout packages
