About The Position
As a CAD Drafter I, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation and modification of telecommunications infrastructure design drawings and documentation using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers and design leads to produce accurate and detailed drawings that meet project requirements.
Requirements
- Associate degree or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, and/or equivalent related experience field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
- Basic understanding of telecommunications infrastructure design principles and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and modification of telecommunications infrastructure design drawings and documentation using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and design leads to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts based on project specifications and guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by adhering to established standards and best practices.
- Review and revise drawings as needed based on feedback from engineering and design teams.
