About The Position

Pinnacle is seeking a meticulous CAD Detailer to work in its Hillsboro, Oregon facility. The position creates and refines 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and works with project teams to develop engineering solutions. The Detailer reads blueprints and technical specifications, communicates value-engineering options, and ensures drawings meet client requirements and company processes. Projects vary in scope and materials, including wood, steel, aluminum, acrylic, and expanded PVC. This is an in-office role working face to face with builders in the shop and across all six project groups.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience creating and refining 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• At least 5 years of detailing experience in the exhibit, event, or permanent-install industries.
• Strong understanding of CAD software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SolidWorks is preferred; AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Inventor are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks or other CAD software.

• Collaborate with project teams to develop drawings and resolve issues.
• Ensure designs are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines.
• Create CNC-ready files.
