About The Position

Pinnacle is seeking a meticulous CAD Detailer to work in its Hillsboro, Oregon facility. The role creates and refines 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and translates designs into CNC-ready files. The Detailer reads blueprints and technical specifications, works with project teams to develop engineering solutions and resolve issues, and communicates value-engineering options. Projects use materials such as wood, steel, aluminum, acrylic, and expanded PVC and vary in scope and size across six groups. This is an in-office position, working face to face with builders in the shop. The Detailer will be the third member of the facility’s Detailer crew.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience creating and refining 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
At least 5 years of detailing experience in the exhibit, event, or permanent-install industries.
Strong understanding of CAD software.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfort communicating value-engineering options with team members.

Nice To Haves

Preference for SolidWorks; the employer is also open to AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or Inventor.
