About The Position

JRT Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Process Piping CAD Detailer. JRT is a mid-sized full service Mechanical Contractor located in Battle Ground, Washington. This position is an on-site position and will work in our office Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is not a remote position. Requirements

Strong Piping/Pipefitting Background
Can Understand and Read Piping Plans and Specs
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Loyal, Honest, Positive, & Driven

Nice To Haves

Experience with Evolve Mechanical in Revit is preferred
Bluebeam experience is desired

Responsibilities

Drafting Piping drawings, coordinating, modeling, and creating shop drawings for our Process Piping projects utilizing Revit.
Create 3D Piping BIM models and shop drawings to a high level of accuracy using contract drawings
Develop and create shop drawings showing sections, tags, and details
Run clash detection to coordinate and resolve issues
Coordinate with the entire BIM team to create an accurate and successful model
Coordinate with Project Managers and Foreman to track and capture changes and costs
Attend meetings with other contractors and project designers for coordination
Track project changes and RFI's and update model accordingly
Create equipment models and details
Create and update as-built or red-line drawing
Utilize Navisworks to collaborate with the project teams
Build excellent professional relationships with contractors, subs, and customers
Continually update "best practices" for BIM
