This specific role is for a skilled Designer with experience in 3D modeling software to support municipal infrastructure projects. The Designer will collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce precise drawings and 3D models for water/wastewater systems, site utilities, structural layouts, and related facilities, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar 3D modeling and drafting software.
• 5 + years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar design software.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed, and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Stay current with new drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
