About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Proficient with UGNX CAD platform Responsible for 3D modelling, product prints, details and assemblies Prepares clear, complete and accurate designs and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches provided by the development engineers Management of all 2D and 3D design files and revision tracking Facilitate CAD & Print transfers; ensuring the latest revisions are sent to GM via Teamcenter Responsible for completing tasks assigned by the Program Team Practical Knowledge of Manufacturing Design Standards for Aluminum Castings/Extrusion, Stampings, Rubber Injection Molding, Plastic Injection Molding, Cold Heading, Forgings, etc Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : None REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent
Minimum Associates Degree in Drafting, CAD or equivalent
5 years of related experience
Entry level math skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, and UGNX CAD software.
Must have a working knowledge of FEA requirements and process to deliver usable models to the CAE group for this purpose.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in verbal or sketch form and process several abstract and concrete variables.
Must be able to assess feasibility of the design work performed.

Responsibilities
