About The Position

Uni-Craft Corp. is seeking a driven CAD Designer to join their team full-time. This role involves creating and detailing product positioning equipment, developing precise drawings for standard and custom equipment to meet customer requirements. The CAD Designer will support the entire manufacturing cycle, from concept to shipment, by preparing detailed designs, generating bills of material, and addressing quality needs. Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic mechanical design.
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of CAD software and design techniques.
• Ability to create detailed and accurate CAD drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Have a positive work ethic and attitude.
• Are self-motivated.
• Effectively manage time.
• Desire to continuously learn.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the manufacturing of metal products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform design layouts and drafting on CAD systems as needed.
• Select and specify purchased parts and materials as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales.
• Design, engineer, and prototype new products and systems to meet customer needs.
