About The Position

TYLin is seeking a process mechanical CAD/BIM Designer for our Water Team to prepare design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater, Pump Station, and Pipeline projects.

Requirements

Requires 5+ years applicable experience or demonstrated skill
MUST have skills with MicroStation Open Buildings (AutoCAD Civil 3D and REVIT is a Plus) in an engineering environment, preferably associated with the production of infrastructure plans.

Nice To Haves

at least 2-year A.S. degree from an accredited college is preferred
Previous work with water, wastewater, energy, and/or petrochemical industries will be highly desired.

Responsibilities

Develop CAD site plans, plan & profile, sections, and details for various types of water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with other disciplines (site civil, structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.
Create BIM models, Cells, Parametric Cells, and CAD based files for use in the production of contract documents.
Ensure drawings comply with company and client CAD/BIM standards and styles.
Help design teams with the assembly of submittals throughout project delivery.
Other related tasks as required.
