About The Position

Crestron Electronics is seeking a CAD Administrator to develop and maintain CAD infrastructure and ensure high-quality data flows through the organization’s Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The role supports CAD users across engineering, production, quality, sales, and other teams, including training users, managing CAD libraries, and supporting CAD applications. The position is hybrid, and candidates must be local to the New Jersey office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, or equivalent CAD work experience; a degree is preferred.
Knowledge of and ability to use Creo Parametric, with at least one year of experience.
Knowledge of and ability to use Windchill PDMLink, with at least one year of experience.
Ability to work independently in a team environment.
Ability to work quickly and accurately while balancing competing demands.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be creative and solve problems.
Ability to learn quickly.

Nice To Haves

CAD experience with board mechanicals for PCB design.

Responsibilities

Test, configure, and maintain CAD tools, primarily PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
Work directly with users on CAD- and PLM-related activities.
Work with the PLM team to co-develop the organization’s digital thread, including eBOMs, mBOMs, quality, change management, and Model-Based Enterprise.
Provide CAD and PLM training.
Build CAD infrastructure, including libraries, standards, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate with internal teams to support seamless and accurate data flow, including Mechanical, PLM, PCB, Production, Electrical, Supply Chain, Sales, OEM, and Marketing teams.
