About The Position

The Cabling Specialist prepares, installs, and maintains data cables for high-performance computing systems of varying sizes and complexities, while meeting the high standards expected by HPE’s diverse customer base. The work includes following detailed documentation and instructions for tasks such as labeling, organizing, preparing, or installing cables or servers in a rack. The role operates industry-standard machines and tools, supports quality assurance, audits materials and builds, and coordinates work within a team. Training is provided.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and the local language.
• Very strong mathematics and reading comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated physical capability, such as manual dexterity.
• Excellent understanding of how to navigate tools and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely and accurate electronic communication regarding material transactions in the manufacturing process.
• Follow detailed documentation and instructions to label, organize, prepare, or install cables or servers in a rack.
• Identify potential process improvements and seek limited guidance to resolve them.
• Operate industry-standard machines and tools while supporting quality assurance.
• Consistently follow relevant processes and best practices.
• Audit materials and builds for quality assurance.
• Coordinate tasks within a team.
• Understand and execute customer expectations, including Customer to Order (CTO) expectations.
