About The Position
Progressive Technologies is currently seeking Cable Technicians for Low Voltage Installations. We specialize in Voice, Data, Fiber, Access Control and Security Installations.
Requirements
- Thoroughly read blue prints
- Know how to use test equipment, i.e- Fluke level 3 tester
Responsibilities
- Terminate RJ45s, keystone jacks, wall face plates, and wireless access points
- Run and support cable with J-hooks and read blueprints
- Dress and label cables at IDF and MDF closets
- Terminate smoke detectors, speaker strobes, heat sensors, pull stations, and duct detectors
- Install interior and exterior POE/IP cameras
