About The Position

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. This is a fully onsite position in Fort Myers, FL. Requirements

Deep knowledge of low-voltage cabling systems and standard practices.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
Proficiency with crimpers, punch-down tools, and cable testers.
Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

Pull, route, and manage CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling through cable trays, racks, and conduits.
Terminate copper (patch panels, jacks) and fiber (LC, SC) connectors; test and certify links with equipment like Fluke analyzers.
Install racks, cabinets, cable pathways, and supporting hardware.
Troubleshoot, identify, and repair cabling faults and connectivity issues.
Adhere to all safety procedures (OSHA, NFPA), including safe use of ladders and lift equipment.
Label all cables and ports, and update documentation or as-built drawings.
