About The Position

VectorUSA is seeking experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians to support critical infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organization with more than 36 years of experience delivering network solutions to enterprise, healthcare, education, and government clients nationwide. Requirements

• 3-5+ years of low-voltage cabling experience
• Hands-on experience with: Cat5e/Cat6 installations, Cable pulling, Terminations and punch-downs, Testing and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication skills and professionalism on customer sites
• Reliable transportation capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder
• Must possess basic hand tools required for the work
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various field environments
• Ability to pass: Background check, Drug screening, Live Scan/Fingerprinting requirements

Nice To Haves

• Fiber optic termination experience
• Experience utilizing Fluke testing equipment
• Experience working in government, federal, or highly regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Install, pull, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
• Perform cable certification and troubleshooting activities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure project milestones are met
• Complete daily project documentation and reporting
• Adhere to all site-specific safety and compliance requirements
