Cable Installer
About The Position
Security Surveillance System is seeking a dependable, hardworking Cable Installer to run and install low-voltage wiring and assist with security equipment installations. The company has served Colorado since 2006 and specializes in security cameras, access control, intercoms, and burglar alarm systems for commercial and residential properties. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $25–$35 per hour, based on experience. Requirements
- Basic cabling or low-voltage installation experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working with ladders and tools.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CAT5e/CAT6 wiring.
- Security system experience.
Responsibilities
- Run and pull CAT5e, CAT6, and other low-voltage cables.
- Install, terminate, label, and test wiring.
- Assist with installing security cameras, access control, intercoms, and alarm systems.
- Install cable pathways, conduit, and mounting hardware.
- Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and lifts safely.
- Work with technicians on commercial and residential projects.
