Requirements

Ability to read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications.
Ability to diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning wiring harnesses.
Ability to identify and rectify defects or issues in harnesses.
Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of care and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to assemble cables & harness assemblies, and adapters.
Ability to maintain accurate material control.
Ability to provide timely feedback to other operations, management and support engineering.
Ability to follow and maintain accurate process documentation.
May use a variety of tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacturing of Cables and Harness.
Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning wiring harnesses, using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
Identify and rectify any defects or issues in the harnesses, such as miswiring, poor connections, or insulation damage.
Identifies by sight workmanship and material defects in touch-up and assembly areas and may be able to suggest basic changes to the work instructions to improve operations in these areas.
Performs tasks with a high degree of care / Quality and attention to details while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Assembles cables & harness assemblies, and adapters by working from samples, Technical Data packages, visual aids, wiring lists and Work Instructions.
Maintains accurate material control within the work area.
Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations, management and support engineering, as appropriate.
Follows and maintains accurate process documentation.
May use a variety of tools to perform tasks.
