Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic high school math skills
  • 2-4 years cable assembly experience
  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
  • Good vision including passing color blindness test
  • Use of safety glasses
  • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lay out and perform a variety of intricate wiring on cable, connectors, electrical penetrators; junction boxes and similar equipment.
  • Read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints.
  • Use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations.
  • Assemble properly from detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Communicate orally and in writing, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions, record data, write clearly and informatively, and read and interpret written information.
  • Use ERP and Time clock system.
  • Complete Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training.
  • Complete Hazardous Communications training.
  • Complete Quality Systems training.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
