About The Position

Daytona International Speedway is seeking event employees with cable-based TV experience and IPTV network infrastructure repair skills who will interact with our guests and participants during racing events and onsite special events. The role involves inspecting, installing, repairing, and supporting cable TV and IPTV infrastructure, as well as providing guest support for Daytona Intl. Speedway-related events. This includes support for large spectator events and track rentals throughout the year.

Requirements

• Minimum of one-year related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficient with all types of hand and power tools.
• Able to work safely using different types of lifts.
• Dependable transportation to and from work is required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the DIS Operations, Venue Technology Manager, and Special Event teams on upcoming events.
• Support cable TV and IPTV infrastructure in fan areas to include the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage, Venue Suite, and Grandstand areas.
• Install and repair indoor and outdoor RF and Network based TV infrastructure.
• Help add and replace indoor and outdoor TVs across the property.
• Be available to support Cable TV and IPTV issues during all major events at DIS.
• Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events.
• Be a team player, helping others whenever assistance is needed.
• Provide back up support for PA and AV Departments as needed.
