About The Position

IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING FOR AN EXPERIENCED CABINET MAKER. NOTE: Your resume' must show a minimum of 3 years ((( EXCLUSIVELY ))) building cabinetry. You must live locally, have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Pay will be based on your level of experience. Responsible for fabrication of millwork products and performing machine maintenance. Superior design and craftsmanship since 1976. Requirements

  • Resume must show a minimum of 3 years exclusively building cabinetry.
  • Must live locally.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Prior warehouse/manufacturing or related work experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares each job in accordance with a job order or verbal/written instructions.
  • Uses woodworking equipment to cut and assemble for the manufacturing process.
  • Performs inspection of completed product in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Moves finished products between stations and shipping area as needed.
  • Prepares finished products for shipment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Reports problems or discrepancies to management.
  • Operates shop equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Observes work in progress and follows all safety procedures including the wearing of personal safety equipment.
  • Cleans up waste and leaves work area in as good or better condition than when job was started.
