About The Position

Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is an experienced high-end commercial architectural millwork company. We are seeking entry or junior level Cabinet Makers - Woodworkers who are hard-working and eager to learn and grow with a good job opportunity in our cabinet shop in Madison, AL. (Huntsville, AL Metro area). The position offers a climate-controlled work environment, being heated and air-conditioned.

Requirements

Ability to learn to read prints and shop drawings.
Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to take on tasks and finish them.
Keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work with the ability to produce good quality work.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
Pride in work.
Dependable and able to be at work on days scheduled and on time.
Good work ethic and a can-do positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience in woodworking and/or cabinet building is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work in a team environment where cross training is encouraged and desired.
Operate woodworking and finishing machinery, and various lacquer/paint products, while committing to safe operation practices.
Use power saws, routers, power drills, sanders, finish spraying equipment, and other tools used in woodworking and cabinetry making.
Perform other duties as assigned and related to position and team goals.
