About The Position

Kitchen Tune-Up Wake Forest is a growing, locally owned business seeking experienced 1099 cabinet installers and trim technicians. We have a steady pipeline of kitchen remodeling projects across the greater Raleigh area. This role involves ongoing cabinet redooring and installation projects, with opportunities for cabinet refacing projects available for those with prior experience or interest in on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry and/or cabinet installation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finish work
• Maintains a professional and courteous presence in customer homes
• Jurisdictionally appropriate Contractor's License or Trade License (as required)
• General Liability Insurance and Worker's Comp Insurance
• Must provide own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation to/from job sites
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Cabinet refacing experience or interest in on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets, doors, molding (including stacked crown), drawer boxes, roll-out drawers, accessories, and decorative hardware
• Arrive to jobsite on time in appropriate work clothing
• Follow the project plan while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized job site with strong attention to customer experience
• Communicate with the project manager daily about progress, issues, and timeline
• Opportunity to support additional pre- and post-installation work as needed/desired
